Without a doubt, owner Brian Acevedo has earned two fans for life. My wife and I were weaned on Pizza King Stromboli when we were at Franklin College 50 years ago. After a reunion, we were excited to bring home five whole "Stroms" so our children and grandchildren could enjoy them too. But, being old, we didn't notice the restaurant hours. We arrived when the diner was closed. Mr. Acevedo saw a geezer peering into the restaurant, asked if we needed help and learned of our predicament. No problem! He couldn't have been kinder, firing up the oven, letting us use the facilities and saving us from the ultimate embarrassment of explaining to the family that we couldn't read the restaurant's business hours. He was perhaps the nicest, most thoughtful owner we've ever met. While DeMotte is out of our way, we'll be back, thanks to Mr. Acevedo's incredible kindness. #1 Choice of PK or Italian Salad
The italian beef sandwich was excellent. Also got the lunch special italian salad with bread stick, this was very good and a good deal as well! The staff is very friendly & fantastic service! Come on out & give them a try!

16" Cheese Pizza
This is my favorite pizza because I add the sausage and pepperoni. Pizza King uses the fine sausage and pepperoni which puts it in every bite. It's best pipping hot from the oven but is also great the next morning for breakfast cold with coffee. I make the drive from Crown Point to DeMotte for this pizza.

Stromboli Half
The stromboli sandwich was very tasty, on a crispy sub roll and generous portion of meat. Just the right amount of sauce and seasoning.
Italian Beef Half
Pizza king has the BEST italian beef hands down. You truly can not get a better one. Their pizza is also amazing!

Very tasty. Not dry at all
